Michigan cornerback commitment Anthony Standifer was a late arrival on the national recruiting scene, waiting until May to receive his first BCS offer. His teammate at Crete-Monee (Ill.), 2013 wide receiver Laquon Treadwell, has appeared on coaches' radars much earlier.

The 6-3, 183-pound Treadwell hit Michigan's radar about the same time the Wolverines offered Standifer. Since then, communication between the two parties has been consistent and Treadwell made a visit out to Ann Arbor late last month to attend Michigan's BBQ at the Big House event.
