The Carson Colts opened the 2011 season with another win against the Mater Dei Monarchs. Four-star All-City Selection Darreus Rogers led his team to victory with a last second touchdown catch. It would be one of a dozen catches for Rogers. However, he wouldn't be the only USC committed wide out to have a huge opening weekend on the gridiron.
