USC's defenders weren't often turned loose the way Nickell Robey was in shutting down Notre Dame's Michael Floyd, here, but it happened enough for USC returning defenders and fans to hope they see the "Back Seven" get to use this as the standard in 2012 for a Trojans defense that must improve.
