Alaka Sees New Side of Sooners
It's no secret that Oklahoma has renewed it's presence in Houston in recent years and in the class of 2014 it seems the Sooners are not only keeping up the trend but accelerating the pace. Nowhere is that more clear than the Sooners early offer to Cypress Falls linebacker Otaro Alaka.
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound prospect picked up a Sooners offer in late September and since then has stayed in contact with Sooners area recruiter James Patton as well as fellow Houston area recruiter and linebacker coach Tim Kish.
"Coach Patton and coach Kish they talked to me on Facebook last week and said that it would be great if I would make it to the game," Alaka said. "The game was pretty good, the traffic was pretty crazy. We got there before the game started."
