Bruins beat UCR

BruinSportsReport.com So this isn't exactly the way the top-ranked team in college basketball is supposed to perform. I know, I know
respect your opponent, any team on any given night can beat you. We've all heard the coach-speak, but there is cause for concern in Westwood, as the Bruins looked sloppy and sluggish in a pedestrian 61-38 win over the lowly Highlanders of UC Riverside.
Perhaps the lack of excitement in the arena caused by playing a vastly inferior opponent as well as a crowd which was probably pretty tired from celebrating the football team's monumental win over USC on Saturday was a reason for the player's absence of energy in the beginning, but the Bruins pretty much didn't play up its potential throughout the contest on Sunday afternoon, showing no emotion and playing without any sense of urgency.
