Tigers manage to lose again
LSU's offensive slump ended for one night Wednesday at the PMAC against Alabama.
However, the losing streak did not end because the Tigers once again almost produced no points down the stretch.
The Crimson Tide, which trailed for almost the entire second half, took the lead in the final minute on a couple of Jermareo Davidson's free throws and held on for a 73-70 victory against LSU.
The Tigers, who did not score in the final five minutes of their three-point loss at Georgia on Sunday, scored just two points in the last 4½ minutes against Alabama.
"We have to play the last five minutes better," LSU coach John Brady said.
