Adams stars at Shrine Bowl combine

TheWolfpacker.com At the first Shrine Bowl combine in Rockingham, N.C., at Richmond County Senior High School, the athletic Marquan Brown stole the show with his blistering handheld 40-times of 4.19 and 4.23 seconds.
Charlotte-area natives had their chance to shine Saturday when the Shrine Bowl combine circuit moved to Butler High in Matthews, and this time it was defensive back Spencer Adams who torched the 40-yard dash on the track of his home school.
Measuring at 6-foot-1, 174 pounds, Adams ran 40-yard dashes of 4.27 and 4.21 seconds on his first two runs. His 4.21-time was the best of the day. Adams got the Brown treatment for his last run. Six stopwatches were placed on him when he ran a third time by himself. This time he was clocked at 4.27-seconds.
