Trojan Weekend Recruiting Wrap

While Pete and Brennan Carroll watched the Corona Centennial, Mater Dei match up, dozens of Trojan targets took the field nationwide.
Mater Dei 35, Centennial 47: The two teams set a California record with more than 1,300 yards of offense, including 420-yards passing, with three touchdowns and three interceptions from Matt Barkley. Sophomore Victor Blackwell three catches for 137 yards and two touchdowns.
Mater Dei (2-1) will play Los Angeles Jordan this week
Randall Carroll - 5-foot-11, 175-pound wide receiver
Cathedral 41, El Segundo 21: The five-star Army All-American ran for 61-yards, while catching six passes for 116-yards and one touchdown. Carroll's wallet never went missing.
Cathedral (2-0) will play at home against Contreras next Friday.
Vontaze Burfict - 6-foot-2, 240-pound linebacker
Centennial 47, Mater Dei 35: The Huskies sacked Matt Barkley three times and also picked him off three times in the win. Vontaze Burfict, playing in several different shades, he rushed the passer off the edge and up the middle. While he didn't get credited for any sacks, he did have 10 tackles.
Centennial (2-0) travel to Fresno to play Clovis West next.
Patrick Hall - 6-foot-1, 185-pound athlete
St. Bonaventure 38, Jordan 20: Patrick Hall eight rushes for 62 yards, while catching three passes for 22 yards in the win.
St. Bonaventure (3-0) will play at Crespi next week
T.J. McDonald - 6-foot-2, 207-pound safety
Fresno Edison 70, Central 27: The Tigers stumble into a scoring-fest after last week's 8-6 victory over Dominguez. T.J. McDonald had seven tackles on defense, a blocked punt, a forced fumble, two touchdowns on offense and a two-point conversion.
Edison (3-0) will host Merced next week
