Redshirt Review: Colin Kelly

The guys in the trenches rarely get much attention, but the success of a football program starts and ends on both the offensive and defensive lines. Building adequate depth and finding the players to step into roles is imperative for teams to continue fielding winning programs.

With the graduation of Adam Speer, Andy Levitre, and Tavita Thompson, the Oregon State coaches will be looking for the next crop of young linemen who are ready to compete for playing time on the offensive front. One young lineman who shows great promise is Colin Kelly from Kelso, WA.

Kelly is one player that many Beaver fans may not be very familiar with, but he is definitely drawing positive attention for his work on the football field. Like many players who spent the year on the scout team last year, Kelly and others are looking forward to the spring for a chance to show what they can do in the Beavers offense.
