Eugene, Ore.- Moments after USC lost 47-20 to Oregon Saturday night at Autzen Stadium, Joe McKnight stood in his uniform outside of the Trojan locker room and took in the scene. With his sullen eyes fixed on the flood of Oregon fans rushing the field, McKnight stayed still as a statue. As USC's national title hopes faded on the road for the second year in a row, McKnight waited for someone that would never come.
