February 16, 2011 Houston, Texas native and senior to be Steve Erzinger has been named by graduating seniors as the captain of the Army Black Knights for the spring.As such, there will be a summer election within current roster of players as they will select a captain for the 2011 football season. The Rover (linebacker) finished second on the team in tackles, only behind former two-time captain and middle linebacker Stephen Anderson. The 6-foot-1, 221 pound Erzinger plays from sideline to sideline very well, but is equally as effective with his aggressive play in various blitz packages.
