All eyes are on USC's cornerback recruiting with the addition of new CBs coach and heralded recruiter Donte Williams, who was hired away from Oregon earlier this week.

Of course, the Trojans want Williams involved in attracting more than corners to campus, but he's shown a track record of landing top talent nationally at that position in particular.

And it's no coincidence that on one of his first days on the job, USC offered some of the top 2021 corners in the country.

Meanwhile, USC's DB recruiting efforts -- the Trojans signed no defensive backs period in the 2020 class -- gained some more momentum Friday as 4-star CB Jakailin Johnson tweeted out a top six list with USC included.

Johnson, who attends De Smet Jesuit High School in St. Louis, Mo., was offered before Williams took over and had already called the Trojans a "dream school" in his tweet announcing the offer, but that offer came on Feb. 5, so it's a further positive sign that he's already determined USC is near the top of more than 20 offers.
