Trojans one free throw ties school record for fewest free throws. USC shot just 4, hit just 1.
Key stats: USC 25 of 56 for 54.3 percent while holding UCR to 13 of 38 for 34.2 percent.

56-33 as MoJo hits Fuller down the lane with a really nice soft assist.
3:30 left.
Trojans working the clock now. Moore gets fouled and we're into the one and one. But he misses.
UCR has really lost the range now. Last two shots were air balls. And neither a three.
Getting a little sloppy now.

OK, UCR guy just got knocked down on a rebound and was called for traveling. We're even up now.
Fuller at the line for 2. He misses first. Trojans 0 for 2 for the game from th eline and then Fuller hits his second.

USC is 24-41 from the field (58.5 percent) to UCR's 12 of 31 (38.7 percent). The defense that made that possible, and a much more patient, confident offense is the story of this one.

MoJo on a really nice drive backoff move for a 15-footer that's perfect against a physical defense the way teams try to stop his penetration.
Then Wesley on a steal and lefty stuff to make it 53-30 with 8:52 left.
Don't care who Trojans are pkaying. For a road game, this is a really nice effort here.
The way they're guarding MoJo, the other two USC guards have to take advantage and with Allen's 11 and Moore's 10, they have.
Nitoto hits one from the first row to make it 53-33. 7:35 left. Time out USC.

Really nice patient baseline jumper by Alexis Moore to make it 46-30 with 11:35 left as Moore now has 7 points.
And Moore comes back for a three and his 10th and a 49-30 USC lead at the 10:37 mark. Again, nice offensive set there against a pretty good defensive team trying to play man.
This USC team looks like it's improved on the offensive end. As it had to do.
They will guard you, no doubt about it. It's all about offense now the rest of the way.

Really nice 1-2-3-4 patient passes for USC, the first three inside, the last one to a wide-open Allen for 3. 40-26 Trojans before UCR comes back for a quick one to make it 40-28.

Martin will get two on the foul on Moore on his drive. Just the third and fourth free throws of the game. He misses both.
USC has yet to shoot a free throw.
Whoa. Wild up and down exchange ends up with MoJo on a 1 on 2 drive where he gets horse-collared as he hits a wild half-hook from the floor and is fouled.
42-28 as MoJo misses USC's first free throw comning aafter 27 minutes of basketball.
B.J. Shearry at the line now for two as we have a veritable parade to the line all of a sudden. Hits both. It's 42-30 before Fuller comes back for a quick one inside.

Wesley slashes with the left hand for a 34-24 USC lead after 45 seconds.
And USC forces a TO on the first UCR set.
Man Martin can score but he landed on a Trojan and the goal is no good, although UCR Coach Jim Wooldridge, Tim FLoyd's guard mate in college at La. Tech, begs to differ for his UCR guys.
Greg Allen comes back with a quick three for a 37-24 Trojan lead at the 17:50 mark.

Trojans a very impressive 15 of 27 from the field (55.6 percent) for the first half to UCR's 9 of 20 (45 percent).
Rebounds show a 12-9 USC edge.
Garrett Jackson's 8 points lead 7 USC scorers. Phil Martin's 11 and Kareem Nitoto's 8 lead UCR which put just 4 players into the scroing column.

MoJo dribbloes for nearly 30 seconds, gets a four-man pick and drills it from 16 feet right of the circle.
32-22 Trojans as UCR goes for last shot but hits itit with 8 seconds left before MoJo comes back to stick his 3 right into the flange at the buzzer.

Really nice recognition by MoJo on a UCR switch off Fuller to get him the ball right back for a drive and a 30-22 USC edge.
Trojans will guard you. Wesley gets a loose ball and gets the timeout call before getting piled on. Nice hustle by the freshman.

Wesley has had nice looks the last two times down the floor but just couldn't knock 'em down.
But Martin, on a quick three leading to a quick USC timeout, did.
24-22 USC. Trojans seem to have no answer for the way UCR is getting Martin his looks.
And three straight nothings for USC on offense as Jackson throws it way over the 7-footer Blasczyk's head.
Trojans get it back and get it back to Blasczyk for an easy 10-footer.

Nitoto on a nice drive after Trojans lose the handle on the break. 24-19 USC. 6:24 and we have another timeout.
Highlanders, with a 6-7 center their tallest guy, may not match up all that well but they did beat Pac-12's Washington State in their last game in the Anaheim Tournament.
They've been in every game except Villanova, a 71-46 clunker.

Jackson low quickly for his third score. It's 15-14 UCR and Martin comes back quick with a three that spins down 2/3 of the way through the hoop and somehow spins out. USC ball. Time out, 11:43.

UCR might have just gotten a missed goaltending there. Still USC ball. Looked like ball was on the glass before Highlander swatted it but Trojans come back for a Moore field goal off the inbunds play for their first lead of the game, 16-15, at 11:20.

Allen's drive makes it 10-8 UCR at 14:30 mark.
And Martin fires in another deep corner three ans it's 13-8. Guy can score here tonight. 6-4 kid out of Staten Island. Trojans get a couple of quick ones with Garret Jackson has his second one down low and almost hometown guy Byron Wesley's drive off a deflection to make it 13-12.

UCR opens in man, Trojans don't get anything and don't get a thing but a bad kicker from MoJo.
Highlanders' leading scorer Phil Martin knoicks down a three to start and a team that can't score much gets another Daymond Cowlan to make it 6-0 afeter a minute.
Blasczyk gets Trojans on board but Kareem Nitoto matches that and it's 8-2 at the two-minute mark and 10-2 after three.
Trojans not setting the world on fire. Jackson's follow makes it 10-4 UCR and now it's 10-6 with Fuller's drive.
