I see it as half full [not half empty]! Look at the last ten years! We opened Galen, we won the PAC at Staples a few years ago, we've had what 5 first round draft picks in the past 6 yrs, we recently had a Sw 16 run and and an Elite team 10 yrs back, we've played the Bruins about EVEN in the last decade and have routed them at PP a number of times. We 've had 20 wins seasons, few losing seasons in the last fifteen and we havent had a season in the last 15 years, where we've won under 13-16 games in my memory.
Stay true to your school and our student athletes through ups and downs! Want NC team ? Root for NC, Duke or Mi. State. I bleed Cardinal though. It IS often frustrating. Welcome to the real world. Is it easy ? No, which is why moments like that Elite 8 run [ Ok St, BC, Ky wins , will among my most be cherished forever !].
We are still coming off of the Sanctions, Coaching and AD changes and various players including a one and done scenario, leaving early .
We don't stink and the program may never be consisently Elite in our lifetimes but I think that there is a nice fit for us all especially at gorgeous Galen and in our USC football offseason. Being a USC B ball fan isn't for the meek, emotionally fragile, bandwagoners or weakhearted. Win or lose, 'I'm IN , because I'm a Trojan for life and through thick and thin ! It's NOT my alma mater...but for 25 years now, has been my school , and ALL 21 USC, teams, are my teams as they ALL represent the superb 121 year legacy of our beloved, University of Southern California !!
