Friday Night Lights (Part II): Stats, scores and more

In part II of our Friday Night Lights review, we take a look around the rest of the state at the players in the 2011 class not committed to Texas and the top 2012 prospects that everyone is talking about. Here's a full breakdown.

Class of 2011

RB - Brandon Williams - Brookshire-Royal (No.6 on LSR)

Statline: Williams rushed for 269 yards and four touchdowns (67, 42, 68, 48) on 15 carries in a 40=28 win over Wharton.

RB - Aaron Green - San Antonio Madison (No.7 on LSR)

Statline: Green and Co. kick off the season on Saturday night against Cibolo Steele.

WR - Trey Metoyer - Whitehouse (No.11 on LSR)

Statline: Metoyer caught three passes for 34 yards and a touchdown (33) in a 35-8 win over Corsicana.

CB - Tevin Mitchell - Mansfield Legacy. (No.13 on LSR)

Statline: Mitchell caught a 60-tard touchdown and had two carries for 15 yards in a 30-20 loss to L.D. Bell.

QB - J.W. Walsh - Denton Guyer (No.14 on LSR)

Statline: Guyer opens their season on Saturday against Waxahachie.

Statline: Brown and Co. open the season against Denton Guyer on Saturday night..

Ath - Jamal Turner - Arlington San Houston (No.19 on LSR)

Statline:Turner exploded in the opener with 298 yards and five touchdowns (31, 1, 43, 24, 5) on 39 carries, while also passing for 92 yards and an interception, in a 51-48 win over Crowley.

RB- Herschel Sims - Abilene (No.20 on LSR)

Statline: Sims rushed for 191 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries in a 36-27 win over Belton.

RB - Kenny Williams - Pflugerville Hendrickson (No.28 on LSR)

Statline: Williams rushed for 44 yards on 15 carries in a 31-21 loss to Vista Ridge.

RB - Johnathan Gray - Aledo (No.1 on LSR)

Statline: Gray rushed for 81 yards on 20 carries in a 20-3 win over Stephenville.

WR - Cayleb Jones - Austin High (No.2 on LSR)

Statline: Jones caught 11 passes for 172 yards in a 34-32 loss to Waco.

OL - Curtis Riser - DeSoto (No.3 on LSR)

Statline: Behind the blocking of Riser, DeSoto tallied 262 yards of offense (141 rushing/221 passing) in a 56-35 win over Leander.

DT - Malcolm Brown - Brenham (No.4 on LSR)

Statline: Brown was dominant in a 28-2 win over Huntsville, as he was part of a defensive unit that allowed 63 yards rushing on 33 carries.

LB - Derek David - Rockdale (No.5 on LSR)

Statline: David and Co. pitched a 58-0 shutout over Eastside Memorial.

Statline: Edwards caught an 18-yard touchdown pass in Ryan's 28-14 win over Sulphur Springs. The Ryan defense only allowed 88 yards rushing on 21 carries.

Statline: Williams rushed for 204 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries in a 30-14 win over Fort Bend Marshall

QB - Matt Davis - Klein Forest (No.8 on LSR)

Statline: Davis had rolled up 160 yards of offense and two touchdowns before suffering a torn ACL in a 42-21 loss to Katy Cinco Ranch.

LB - Jordan Richmond - Denton Ryan

Statline: Ryan help limited Sulphur Springs to 88 yards of rushing offense in a 28-14 win on the road. The defense also forced five fumbles and recovered three.

Ath - Thomas Johnson -Dallas Skyline (No.10 on LSR)

Statline: Skyline opens the season against Belle Glades (Fla.) Central on Saturday.

DB - LaDarrell McNeil - A. Maceo Smith (No.12 on LSR)

Statline:McNeil rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown on six carries, while recording a safety on defense, in a 34-8 loss to Molina.

DB - Justin Thomas - West Orange-Stark (No.16 on LSR)

Statline: Thomas was lights on defense, while also rushing for 62 yards and a touchdown (6) in a 40-19 win over Nederland.

Ath - Bralon Addison - Fort Bend Hightower (No.17 on LSR)

Statline: Addison and Co. open the season on Saturday against Aldine Eisenhower.

DT - Javonte Magee - San Antonio Sam Houston (No.18 on the LSR)

Statline: Magee had a 26-yard interception return for a touchdown in Sam Houston's 43-14 romp over Brackenridge.
