Jersey OL visits BC for third time

Brad Henson took an unofficial visit to Boston College this past week and continues to express a lot of interest in the Eagles.

With offers from BC, UConn, ECU, Miami, Rutgers, UCF and West Virginia, Henson is well-known on the national recruiting radar.

The 6-foot-5, 275-pound tackle from Toms River (N.J.) Monsignor Donovan has now visited the Eagles three times. He was at BC on Thursday and while he didn't see much he hadn't seen before he did start to build an important relationship with a new coach.

"It went well," Henson said of his Thursday visit. "I took a tour, ate lunch and talked to Coach Spaz and Coach (Jim) Bollman, the new offensive line coach. I got along great with him.

"I talked to the whole coaching staff and then watched practice. Coach Spaz just let me know they really want me there."

Henson doesn't have plans to visit any other schools and he he claims he doesn't have any favorites yet.

"I'm not favoring any schools over any others," he said. "I'm interested in everyone right now.

"I am very interested in BC. You could say I have high interest in them."

Henson wasn't the only recruit scheduled to visit BC this past week. Of course, last weekend the Eagles played host to several in-state recruits that have been identified as important to BC's 2013 recruiting efforts.

On Thursday other scheduled visitors of note included Charles Callinan and Luke Catarius, among others.
