Today we break down the athlete category. Who is the fastest? The most athletic? Who has the best ball skills? Our experts have come up with the complete list.

Safety rankings: Fastest | Most athletic | Best ball skills | Best jumbo athlete

Fastest
Jeremy Crabtree's take: When it comes to speed, guys like Thomas, Barnes and Scott standout without question. When he's 100 percent, Shoemate might be at the top of this category. He's so explosive and quick.

Mike Farrell's take: Lamaar Thomas is a 10.3-second 100 meter guy who has on-field speed comparable to Ted Ginn, he has the potential to be great.

JC Shurburtt's take: There is no questioning Thomas' speed. His track accomplishments are well-documented, but what's impressive is how it translates to the field.

    Most Athletic
Crabtree's take: Good call with Shoemate as being the most athletic. He can sure scoot and make things happen. I also love having Torrence in here because he's explosive on both sides of the ball. Will Hill, Scott and Barnes are also great picks here.

Farrell's take: Will Hill is the most athletic player to come out of New Jersey in at least a decade. D.J. Shoemate can play numerous positions at the next level, same with Brandon Barnes.
