The War Room

Big name out of state recruits are our focus in this edition of the USCFootball.com War Room, including a five-star Texas tailback.

We also update the potential quarterbacks recruits, talk to USC's next "No.1" receiver and reveal some of Devon Kennard's high profile workout buddies.

More details of what is inside:

  • Despite having three running back commitments for the class of 2010 already, Temple (Texas) five-star running back Lache Seastrunk is still in play for USC. We have the details inside the War Room.

  • A four-star receiver from Louisiana is close to Seastrunk, and both could attend the same school. But why is this out of state talent still without a scholarship offer?

  • Clay Matthews turned his career around, going from walk-on to 1st round draft pick. But will that be enough to make his nephew follow in his footsteps?

  • There are a lot of quarterbacks out there looking for USC scholarship offers, we have the latest on who those players are and which one it could be.

  • The talent rich USC Rising Stars Camp is coming up and we update some of the players you can expect to see there.

  • A little joke was played on one of the incoming freshmen about what number he would wear and what position he would play. We have the details on the player who will take over Patrick Turner's No. 1 jersey.

  • Defensive end Devon Kennard is a freak of an athlete, but the guys he is working out with take freak to another level.

  • Plus plenty more!

The one rule we have for the War Room is simply that everything that is reported here should stay here and on The Peristyle. Sometimes the info is sensitive enough that it simply does not need to be passed on beyond the doors of this thread.

Please honor this request and we will continue to do our best to provide all of our subscribers with a great perspective on the program.

This is a special feature for USCFootball.com subscribers only. The reason why it is posted on the premium board is that it is the only way to ensure that the info stays exclusive to the Trojan fans.

This will only work if everyone helps make it work by not copying or reprinting the information.
