The War Room

In our bye week edition of the USCFootball.com War Room we discuss a couple of underclassmen that may surprise everyone and leave school early for the NFL.

We also have plenty of recruiting scoop, including some false commitment rumors, out of state five-star prospect updates and why USC commit D.J. Morgan is playing with a chip on his shoulder.

More details of what is inside:

  • We are hearing that a handful of USC's skill position players are seriously considering leaving early for the NFL after this season. We have the details on which players are considering leaving, including one major surprise.

  • Stud Narbonne safety Sean Parker was rumored to be a USC commit. We have the real deal on what is going on with Parker's "commitment."

  • We have insider updates on some out of state five-star prospects, including Philadelphia defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd, Illinois receiver Kyle Prater and Florida linebacker Jeff Luc.

  • Woodland Hills (Calf.) four-star running back D.J. Morgan was recently named to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. While he is thrilled with this honor, Morgan will be playing in this game with a chip on his shoulder. We have the story behind the story in the War Room.

  • We have local recruit updates as well, including Crenshaw linebackerHayes Pullard and running back DeAnthony Thomas and Gardena (Calif.) five-star Army All-American receiver Robert Woods.

  • Safety Will Harris enjoyed a new role in the nickel defense against California, allowing sophomore Drew McAllister more playing time.

  • Injury updates from receiver Ronald Johnson and defensive end Armond Armstead.

  • Plus plenty more!

The one rule we have for the War Room is simply that everything that is reported here should stay here and on The Peristyle. Sometimes the info is sensitive enough that it simply does not need to be passed on beyond the doors of this thread.

Please honor this request and we will continue to do our best to provide all of our subscribers with a great perspective on the program.

This is a special feature for USCFootball.com subscribers only. The reason why it is posted on the premium board is that it is the only way to ensure that the info stays exclusive to the Trojan fans.

This will only work if everyone helps make it work by not copying or reprinting the information.
