AcaCedric Ware chooses USC

Cedar Hill (Texas) tailback Aca'Cedric Ware committed to USC Monday night. He chose to leave his home state and head west because for many reasons but mostly because of the education USC offers.
"I picked USC because it's a private education," Ware said. "If football doesn't work out, I have a chance to be successful with that degree. It's a prestigious school."

Being a Trojan can also help his football aspirations. Not only does the school have a history of producing top tailbacks, they need them this season.
"It's a good football team and a good program," Ware said. "I think their offense fits me and could benefit me a lot."
He doesn't only have confidence in USC's new offense, he has confidence in USC's new coaching staff.
"I'm really cool with coach (Johnny) Nansen, coach Sark (Steve Sarkisian), all those guys," Ware said. "I respect them as well. I'm excited to be a part of what they're doing and this team."
And the staff has confidence in Ware. They think he's a fit for their offense. The Trojans want explosive backs and Ware averaged over 9 yards a carry last season.
"They think I'm the type of player for that offense," Ware said.
Although he's committed, the three-star prospect still has plenty to learn about USC. He's looking forward to that process.
"I watched them growing up but since I'm not from California, I still have to learn more about them," Ware said. "I'm looking forward to it and I'm excited to be a Trojan."
He's also excited for that California weather.
"The weather is great out there," Ware said. "That's the kind of weather I like."
Ware may have committed but he's not done with the recruiting process. He plans to take all of his official visits. So far he plans to visit USC, Ohio State and Iowa.
He previously visited USC for the Rising Stars Camp.
