Cravens Commitment Letter

Temecula (Calif.) five-star safety Su'a Cravens committed to USC Wednesday, but before his parents allowed him to announce his decision, they wanted him to express his feelings in writing.
The following letter was written word for word by Su'a Cravens before his commitment to USC Wednesday.

This is a letter for his family, for the Trojans fan base and for himself. Cravens becomes commitment No. 8 for the USC - the third five-star pledge of the Trojans 2013 class.
"When I was growing up, USC was a dominant force in college football. I have great memories of those teams. When the sanctions came down, I felt bad for the players and the program.
"Although I had many college choices, I was not going to turn my back on USC. I want to be a part of another great USC run and I believe the players and staff that are there now are perfect for such a run.
"With the talented recruits that are headed there, along with the top notch education, SC was an offer I could not refuse. It will be an honor and a challenge to play for one of the most stories college football programs in the country. A program that has produced so many great players." - Su'a Cravens
