Following the film study from Sunday's scrimmage Lane Kiffin is no closer to naming a starting quarterback. Here is how the QB's performed during Monday's practice.
Quarterback Analysis by Ryan Abraham:
For the second day in a row Cody Kessler had significantly more pass attempts than Max Wittek during the competitive periods of practice.
On Monday it was Max Wittek that took the majority of the first team snaps with Kessler getting a mix of both first team and second team reps.
Again, no major changes to the overall QBR numbers, with Max Wittek getting fractionally closer to Kessler.
Tuesday and Wednesday are the last open practices. That means only two more QBR reports unless Lane Kiffin names a starter after one of those practices.
Max Wittek has 18 touchdowns and 12 interceptions this fall while Cody Kessler has 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
Receivers dropped three passes from Max Wittek and two passes from Cody Kessler.
Wittek was not sacked while Kessler was sacked three times and had a fumbled snap (Max Tuerk at center).
Wittek had one touchdown and one interception and Kessler had one touchdown with no picks. Wittek was picked off by freshman Quinton Powell.
