Kamari Ramsey has more than a dozen offers entering his junior year at Sierra Canyon High School, and a couple of schools have already emerged in the 2022 4-star athlete's recruitment.
"Right now it's just mainly USC and Arizona State," he said of which programs he's talking to the most.
Ramsey is a top safety target for the Trojans in that 2022 class and says he stays in contact with head coach Clay Helton, safeties coach Craig Naivar and director of HS relations Armond Hawkins Jr.
Meanwhile, Hawkins' brother Chris -- the former USC DB and graduate assistant -- is leading Ramsey's recruitment for Arizona State, setting up an interesting dynamic there.
Ramsey said the interest with USC is definitely mutual and that the Trojans are at the top of list so far in the process. He talks to the staff about every other week.
"It's LA. It don't get no better than LA, your hometown city. It's LA -- it speaks for itself," Ramsey said.
