Texas WR loved his visit to USC

The start of spring practice means USC has been hosting top recruits from Southern California who are curious to see what the local programs are up to. But the Trojans have a national draw as well and attracted a talented 2019 visitor from the Lone Star State.

Kam Brown, a wide receiver from Heritage HS in Colleyville, Texas took an unofficial visit to USC on Saturday March 11.

“I loved it down there,” Brown told TrojanSports.com. “I really loved the organization of practice and how up tempo it was.”

The 6-foot and 160 pound prospect will likely be one of the top prospects in his class. He already has more than twenty different scholarship offers, including offers from football powers like Miami (Fla.), Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State and Texas.

USC is not among the teams that have extended a scholarship offer, but it could eventually happen. A Trojan coach plans to evaluate Brown in person very soon.

“Coach Tee (Martin) was telling me before they offer, they like to see people in person,” Brown said. “So he said he would be down there in the spring to watch me.”
