St. Bonaventure tight end Bryce Dixon waited for a national T.V. audience before making a college commitment.
Despite many thinking he would commit to UCLA Saturday, Dixon chose the Trojans over the Bruins to give USC commitment No. 15 for 2014.
"I'll be getting my degree and playing college ball at the University of Southern California," Dixon said at the Army All-American Bowl on NBC. "USC has a good tradition of tight ends. They're bringing coach Sark in. It'll be a great addition and I think I can keep the tradition going of good tight ends."

Dixon spoke about the factors pushing him toward USC throughout the week in San Antonio.
"USC is a great school and they have a great tradition," Dixon said. "It's also close to home. I wanted to stay close because I have a lot of family that lives in L.A. I wanted them to be able to see me play."
His family will see him utilized in an offense that has produced quality tight ends. As a senior, Dixon had 63 catches for 721 yards and 14 touchdowns.
"I like USC's pro-style offense," Dixon said. "I like coach Sark [Steve Sarkisian] too and what he did with [Austin Seferian-Jenkins] at Washington too. He had two Mackey Award winning tight ends and USC already had good a tradition at tight end."
The four-star tight end was also impressed with USC's dedication to having top-flight facilities.
"The facilities are really nice," Dixon said. "I really like that a lot."
The 6-foot-4 prospect, who's cousins with former Trojans Keary Colbert and Patrick Hall, officially visited Arizona State, Florida and Oregon before making his final decision.
Those trips didn't do enough to pull him away from the hometown program. Friday afternoon, Dixon called Steve Sarkisian and committed.
"Coach Sarkisian was fired up," Dixon said. "I'm excited about getting up there."
That doesn't mean that Dixon is necessarily done with official visits. He plans to visit USC on Jan. 17. He may still take a visit to UCLA on the 24th and has also talked about a potential visit to Miami.
If he does sign to the Trojans, USC is getting the third best tight end in the country according to Rivals.com. Dixon is also the highest rated tight end in the state of California.
