BOULDER, Colo. -- It was a much different vibe Saturday afternoon for the USC Trojans after their 37-14 win over Colorado.

This game was as decisive and lacking in suspense as the Trojans' lopsided loss a week ago at home to Oregon State.

In short, USC needed this one.
