The USC Trojans are returning to the practice field on Wednesday as fall camp commences. After a long and at times overwhelming off-season at Troy, the team can finally get back to business on the field. Coming off the National Championship and going into the season ranked #1, August 28th can hardly come soon enough.

Tuesday the team reported back to campus and spent the day going in and out of meetings. Wednesday will be a different story as the team will get the turf of Howard Jones Field under their cleats. This will be the first time the team practiced under the supervision of Coach Carroll, Chow and the rest of the Trojan staff since April.
The afternoon session will be dedicated to the highly anticipated incoming freshmen class. Guys like Keith Rivers, Dwayne Jarrett and Jeff Byers will look to make an immediate impact on the field and impress the coaching staff.
In the morning the veterans will return to work and stars like Matt Leinart, Matt Grootegoed and Darnell Bing will try to sharpen their skills in preparation for Virginia Tech.
USCFootball.com will be there all through fall camp with detailed reports, interviews and photos from the practice field. How are the new guys shaping up? What does that offensive line look like? Can the new cornerbacks hold their own? Stay tuned and USCFootball.com will bring you all of that information and more.
