We could not have asked for a nicer day to open the 2003 USC home football season. Campus was buzzing with activity and everywhere Trojan fans were excited for the potential of another amazing season. As usual, USCFootball.com set up right in the center of the action and handed out “BEAT BYU” stickers to thousands of folks enjoying their day on campus.

This was an interesting week because most of my regular crew, including Denise and Nichole, who I hold Thundering Herd season tickets with, were out of town. The new team of Kevin, Carrie, Doug, Ted, Rea, Todd and Wendy were All-Star caliber and joined up nicely with Tracy (She Said) and Fred and our tailgate neighbors Mike and Kim.

All of us handed out around 4000 “BEAT BYU” stickers and ran out of those fairly early on. We will plan to do more for the Hawaii game.
