Cook flips to USC

Just days after an official visit to USC, Miami, Fla. Central HS product Jamel Cook announced that he had flipped his commitment from Florida State to the Trojans.

Cook did so on national signing day, announcing his decision in a ceremony at his high school.

Cook was a longtime Seminole commit but the USC visit obviously impressed, as did USC's pitch. The Trojans are telling Cook that he would be a candidate for immediate playing time.

Cook is a 6-foot-4, 185-pound prospect that's rated as a three-star athlete.
