USC is in Las Vegas to play a pair of games in the Las Vegas Classic this weekend.

While the Trojans hope to win the title on Friday night, they will at a minimum be coming home with a nice parting gift thanks to the Thursday night commitment of four-star wing Charles O'Bannon.

The 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman ranks No. 50 overall in the class of 2017. Last week, O'Bannon told us that he liked the Trojans' location and style of play.

"It's the hometown feeling and I like being close to home," said O'Bannon. "USC is undefeated this year so their style of play is the way the to go."

A natural scorer, O'Bannon loves to let jump shots fly from deep and has built his reputation as a long-range bomber.

However, last week at the Tarkanian Classic he showed much improved game off the dribble and he was more explosive attacking the rim than in the past.

"I've been working on a little bit of everything because every part of my game I need to develop," said O'Bannon. "I've been focusing more on my explosiveness and finishing at the rim."

Now that O'Bannon is in the fold, the Trojans now have a three-man class that also includes four-star wing Jordan Usher and three-star big man Victor Uyaelunmo.

With his commitment out of the way, O'Bannon can enjoy a stress free senior year.

"I've been looking forward to my senior year for a long time now," said O'Bannon at the Tarkanian Classic. "For it to be here now is pretty exciting."
