Freshman wide receiver Patrick Turner was a five-star prospect that now enters USC with great expectations. His 6-foot-5, 212-pound frame already draws plenty of attention and now with the famous No. 1 on his jersey the spotlight will only brighten on Turner this fall. As reported by Scott Wolf of the Daily News, the transfers of Rocky Hinds and possibly Eric Wright have hit a bump in the road on the way to Las Vegas. Both players had thoughts of transferring to UNLV, but according to Wolf, the university has now blocked them from doing so.
Players are allowed to appeal the decision to a committee that is not part of the USC athletic department.
