This week in the USCFootball.com War Room we get back to business with recruiting, going over the latest offers and take a look at one of the Trojans' biggest needs, linebacker. We also provide an update on the status of Seantrel Henderson, take a look at the scholarship situation and provide insight on recruiting at running back among other things.
More details of what is inside:
The Trojans are currently loaded at the tailback position. Looking ahead, some of the USC signees and prospects at running back have two things in common, speed and rehabbing ACL injuries. Not only is incoming freshman D.J. Morgan working his way back from a knee injury, but two USC targets for the class of 2011 are as well.
Monday the Seantrel Henderson texted USCFootball.com to tell us that the five-star tackle would sign with USC this week. We have a quick update on the Henderson situation and reasons for the delay in the War Room.
The dire linebacker recruiting situation has been discussed numerous times here in the War Room and on the Peristyle Podcast. We have a revised update on USC's search for top out of state linebackers in this week's War Room.
We update the scholarship situation and talk about which walk-ons have a shot at earning full ride from Lane Kiffin. We also share the story of preferred walk-on Abe Markowitz explain and why the USC center turned down scholarship offers to become a Trojan.
Plus plenty more!
The one rule we have for the War Room is simply that everything that is reported here should stay here and on The Peristyle. Sometimes the info is sensitive enough that it simply does not need to be passed on beyond the doors of this thread.
Please honor this request and we will continue to do our best to provide all of our subscribers with a great perspective on the program.
This is a special feature for USCFootball.com subscribers only. The reason why it is posted on the premium board is that it is the only way to ensure that the info stays exclusive to the Trojan fans.
This will only work if everyone helps make it work by not copying or reprinting the information.
