Previewing USC's big recruiting weekend: See which prospects are visiting

Months and months of effort, travel, consistent communication and relationship-building has been leading to this weekend, when the majority of USC's top Class of 2023 recruiting targets will take their official visits to campus.

In all, 24 recruits are visiting USC this weekend, including 10 Rivals100 prospects and 15 Rivals250 prospects in all.

The Trojans enter the weekend with nine 2023 commits, after picking up two fresh commitments from their smaller official visitor group last weekend, as three-star OT Tobias Raymond and three-star DE Grant Buckey announced their USC pledges.

This weekend should spark even more momentum for the program, and TrojanSports.com will have it covered from every angle.

First, we break down what fans need to know about each of this weekend's visitors.

Five-star linebacker Anthony Hill is a headliner this weekend, but he's a longshot for the Trojans. Nothing can be ruled out for a prospect who is flying halfway across the country to take an official visit, but going into the weekend Texas A&M and Alabama are the favorites in his recruitment. There's no harm in the Trojans taking their shot, though.

USC's top offensive line target, four-star Francis Mauigoa is an interesting case. His family is from American Samoa and for a while there was the thought that they would prefer him to end up on the West Coast, where he started high school. But Tennessee has made a major surge in his recruitment of late. USC remains a contender here but needs to maximize its presentation this weekend.

Another top-30 national prospect, but in this case the Trojans might well be the leader already. Duce Robinson is a special prospect at tight end as a highly-athletic and smooth 6-foot-6 pass-catcher. He is a top priority for USC and could be the final piece of sorts to an offensive arsenal that is loaded at all of the other skill positions moving forward.

USC's top defensive line target, local standout Matayo Uiagalelei has been on campus several times already since Lincoln Riley and Co. arrived, so there won't be much new to show him this weekend. But the value of getting him for his official visit now, on this loaded recruiting weekend, may be to show him the caliber of talent he could be surround by with the Trojans.
