RB Tony Hunts 2nd game - he was on fire!

TC Williams high school in Virginia is home to a very talented RB who will make some college coach very happy this coming February. Tony Hunt stands 6 foot 3 inches tall and is approximately 225 pounds.  With good speed, he is all about power.  As close to the total package as you can get.
USCFootball.com was on hand to watch TC’s second game of the year against the Mont Vernon Majors. It was a cool fall day with the looks of rain as Tony Hunt led his team out on to the field.  The rain held off and Tony simply dominated the game for TC as they won 20-13.

Tony is a captain and the main cog of his team. He is a clear presence on his team and passes the eyeball test - resembling your prototypical big running back in the Big Ten mold.
Former Trojan great Riki Ellison is in his second year coaching the Titans, and is very high on his senior running back. Unfortunately, TC did not win a game last year. They lost their first game this year and were really hungry for a win this Saturday.
TC started out running Tony Hunt on the first few plays of the game. Hunt picked up a first down, then had a 6 yard run called back because of a penalty - however he showed great strength and power, lowering the boom on several defenders and moving them down the field for a few extra yards. He then caught a swing pass and ran 75 yards for his first TD.
On their second possession, Tony scored a 43 yard TD on the third play. For a bigger back, he can really hit his holes and just plows over people.  When he turned the corner, he had enough speed and power to get up field.
Hunt ended the first quarter with 91 yards rushing, with 2 TDs.
Tony played well in the second half. On one drive alone, Ellison went to Hunt several times, unfortunately the drive came to an end on a bad spot following a Hunt 3 yard run on 4th and short. He came up a foot short and lost the ball. Hunt had 38 yards on the ground during that drive. Even in the late going, Tony had a good push and just powered his way for yard after yard. He seems to love contact and puts a real lick to defenders.
The Titans were able to hold their lead all the way to the end of the game. Mont Vernon had a chance to score with seconds left, even having a WR drop a ball in the end zone. The Titans hung on to win 20-13. The win was punctuated with a dousing of Coach Ellison at midfield by his excited players. A hard fought win, thanks in most part to Tony Hunt
Tony Hunt was clearly the MVP for TC, rushing for a total of 176 yards on 24 carries and 1 TD. He also scored a 75 yard TD on his only reception.
During his first week of play, Tony ran for 57 yards on 19 carries and 1 TD. He also caught 3 balls for 46 yards.
So far this year, Tony has rushed for 233 yards and has 112 yards receiving with a total of 3 TDs. Off to a good start in his final season.
On the recruiting trail, Tony is taking his time surveying his colleges options. Among the interested schools are Virginia, Maryland, Clemson, Penn State, and USC. Things may heat up more for this talented RB from TC Williams high school.
More to come on Tony Hunt.
