Every week, TrojanSports.com will track the performances and collect the highlights of USC's 2023 and 2024 commits.

It was yet another huge week for USC's two four-star running back commits from Texas, A'Marion Peterson and Quinten Joyner.

Catch up on the latest action from the Trojans' recruiting class here. (All stats credited to MaxPreps.com unless otherwise noted.)

2023 Commits

Four-star RB A'Marion Peterson (Hirschi HS/Wichita Falls, Texas) – 26 carries for 262 yards and 3 touchdowns, including an 85-yard touchdown run. (Time Record News) (Won 28-7 over Greenwood HS)

This running back room in 2023 for USC is going to be an extremely talented group. Peterson has been putting up numbers like this regularly, but even though he had a monster game, he wasn’t even the best running back commit this weekend.

Four-star RB Quinten Joyner (Manor HS/Manor, Texas) – 15 carries for 326 yards and 4 touchdowns with a long run of 90 yards. (Won 45-10 over Stony Point HS)

Another week, another monster game from Joyner. Averaging over 21 yards per carry in this game, he continues to have a monster season. Looking at his numbers, you would assume he is playing inferior talent, but he is playing in Texas. Texas has some of the best high school football in the country.

Three-star WR Ja’Kobi Lane (Red Mountain HS/Mesa, Ariz.) – 1 for 1 passing for 36 yards and a touchdown, 8 carries for 35 yards, 3 receptions for 7 yards. (Lost 14-7 to Highland HS)

Lane might not put up the most consistent stat lines week to week, but when he can do what he did to this cornerback in the video below (even if a penalty called the play back), it’s easy to see why the Trojans wanted his talent.
