Sanchez Arrested
Redshirt Freshman USC quarterback Mark Sanchez was arrested and charged with sexual assault tonight according to the LAPD.
The arrest occured in front of a myriad of police cars and helicopters circling the Cardinal Gardens apartment complex.

A female USC student reported that Sanchez assaulted her earlier Wednesday.
Police entered the apartment shared by Sanchez and freshman teammate linebacker Brian Cushing. Both were led from their apartment in handcuffs and taken to a waiting squad car.
Cushing was soon released as the police sorted out the accused.
At this point Cushing has not been formally questioned by the LAPD.
Cushing and Sanchez have been roomates for at least a year.
Mark Sanchez was rated as the nation's top high school quaterback in 2004, throwing for 1,746 yards and 16 touchdowns his senior year at Mission Viejo.
