Tell them hes a Trojan

SAN ANTONIO - Marvell Tell slowly narrowed his choices down over the course of the season. He had a list of scholarship offers that most would be jealous of. But he eventually got it down to just three.
On Saturday, the four-star safety from Encino Crespi narrowed it down to one.

"For the next four years I'll be at University of Southern California," Tell announced at the U.S. Army All-American game. "It's where I feel like I fit for the next four years. I'll be happy. I feel like I can be successful.
"And you know we're going to bring that national championship back."
Tell told TrojanSports.com he felt very close to the USC coaching staff, which made his choice much easier.
"It's just where I felt like I fit the most," said Tell. "I considered a lot of really good schools and it just came down to where I felt like I would fit."
Tell, who picked USC over Oregon and Texas A&M among many others, said proximity also played a role in his decision.
"As a kid growing up in Los Angeles, it's just a program I've always wanted to a part of," he said.
USC now boasts nine commits from the Army roster, the most for any program.
