HARBOR CITY, Calif. -- Joshua Jackson had been waiting through the first five games of this season to breakout and show everybody why he's becoming one of the more coveted wide receivers in 2020 recruiting class.
Jackson had to sit out the first month of the season after transferring from Orange Lutheran to Narbonne High School, but he's been making up for lost time through his first two games with the Gauchos.
After totaling a team-high 6 catches for 62 yards in his season debut against Lawndale, Jackson broke out in a big way last week with 7 receptions for 168 yards and 2 touchdowns (including a long catch of 63 yards) in a 50-0 win over Banning.
"As of right now I'm just really focused on the season and showing everybody what I can do -- just to really showcase my speed and strength and my moves really," he had said leading into that game.
While Jackson is focused on his high school season, some of college football's most high-profile programs are focused on him.
The 4-star prospect is ranked the No. 25 wide receiver in the 2020 class and is receiving his strongest interest from Michigan, USC, Nebraska and TCU, he said.
