Despite the fact that he lives in Georgia, 2019 five-star defensive end Christopher Hinton is very familiar with USC. That's, in part, because of the job done by USC's coaching staff. Hinton says he's already built a relationship with them.

"They've been sending me camp invites, mailing me camp invites," Hinton told TrojanSports.com. "They came by the school Wednesday. So they're familiar with me, they've been talking to me."

Shortly after Neil Callaway visited Greater Atlanta Christian School this week a scholarship offer was extended to Hinton.

"Basically my coach told me to call the offensive line coach," Hinton said. "He came by Wednesday and then my head coach had told me to call the offensive line coach and that's when they made the offer. Then we talked about the great academics and just working on building a relationship over the next couple of years. I'm going to work on getting to USC before I make my commitment because it definitely fits what I'm looking for in a school."

Although Hinton has plenty of time before he has to make a decision, he believes USC will be a school he considers.

"They're definitely an option," Hinton said. "I don't really have a top list right now. But I'm going to definitely consider USC because they have great academics and great football. And the West Coast is beautiful."

His younger brother, 2020 prospect Myles Hinton, also received a scholarship offer from USC at the same time. USC is recruiting Christopher to play along the defensive line and Myles to play along the offensive line.

Christopher Hinton thinks he and his brother will both visit USC at some point.

"Definitely, we are going to try to go out there and visit," Hinton said.

And when asked if his brother is also interested in USC, Hinton replied "yes he is."

We were also able to briefly catch up with Myles Hinton and he confirmed what his brother told us.

"I'm looking forward to building a relationship with the school," Myles Hinton told TrojanSports.com.

If USC does somehow woo the Hinton brothers, it wouldn't only be a big score because they're two talented players from Georgia. It would also be a score because of their genes. Former 13-year NFL offensive tackle veteran Chris Hinton is the father of these two.
