Predictions - The Uncommitted Prospects
Prediction: Nebraska.
We're not 100-percent sure Blades will choose Nebraska. But we feel pretty confident he won't choose USC. While Blades did just back away from his commitment to Florida, nothing else is pointing to him being in USC’s 2017 class.
Prediction: Oregon
Falo was all set to join USC’s class but a late visit to Oregon seemed to sway his attention towards the Ducks. Now it looks like this talented tight end will likely be playing against USC.
Prediction: LSU
Like Blades, this is another prediction that's more about him not coming to USC than going to a certain school. We just don’t see how Farrell fits into USC's class with all the other activity happening along the defensive line. Even if he could, we've seen no evidence that he prefers USC over LSU, Florida State or his other options. We'll pick the Tigers here.
Prediction: USC
Jackson is from a USC football family and he’ll continue that tradition playing as a Trojan himself.
Prediction: USC
We believe Johnson will commit to USC and wait for his younger brother, Marcus, to join him at USC.
Prediction: USC
We believe the Trojans are the favorite for Jones. Florida State is getting a lot of attention as the team to beat but we'll take USC to shock the world in this battle.
Prediction: South Carolina
We believe USC will finish behind the school that Kinlaw originally committed back when he was a high school football player.
Prediction: USC
We believe Lewis will choose the Trojans on National Signing Day over the rest of the schools on his impressive list of schoalrship offers.
Prediction: Michigan
Solomon has kept his recruitment close to the vest but we believe USC will finish right behind Michigan in this race.
Prediction: USC
Our very own Drew Krinsky reported that Tufele will eventually commit to USC a while back. We still believe Tufele will follow through on that plan and commit to USC.
Predictions - The Committed Prospects
Prediction: USC
There was a lot of late with movement with Arizona State and even Adam Gorney says that he wouldn’t be surprised if Bolden flipped to the Sun Devils on signing day. We get why Gorney feels that way, but at this point, it would surprise us if Bolden didn’t end up at USC. We expect him to be a Trojan.
Prediction: USC
Carr took an official visit to UCLA the weekend before signing day and there’s been a lot of noise behind Oregon being a contender for him as well. But it would absolutely shock us if Carr ends up anywhere besides USC.
Prediction: USC
Echols has made sure that everyone knows he’s committed to USC. It would be an unbelievable shock if he didn’t sign with the Trojans.
Prediction: Oregon
While Falaniko is a USC commit he's still considering other school and after a late scholarship offer from Oregon, we expect him to end up with the Ducks.
Prediction: USC
Godfrey committed to USC shortly after an official visit and we would be shocked if he didn't end up as a Trojan.
Prediction: USC
There’s been some noise behind a few other schools outside of USC lately. But Grimes has told us that he's solidly committed. So we believe he'll end up as a Trojan.
Prediction: USC
Johnson is signed, sealed, delivered. He can’t go anywhere else, he’s an early enrollee. In fact, he was ready to play for USC before he even received a scholarship offer.
Prediction: USC
Katoa is signed, sealed, delivered. He can’t go anywhere else, he’s an early enrollee.
Prediction: USC
Krommenhoek laughed off the notion that he could be looking elsewhere after TrojanSports.com asked him about a visit Cal coaches took to his high school. He says he’ll be a Trojan without a doubt.
Prediction: USC
Lang took an official visit to Colorado right before signing day. But all signs point to him ending up at USC. He told us that's his plan and he told Rivals.com's Mike Singer that as well.
Prediction: USC
Lichenstein is supposed to be solidly committed to USC. There's been some noise about him and other schools but we believe he'll end up as a Trojan.
Prediction: USC
He committed shortly after a visit and plans to blue shirt. USC will be his final choice unless something absolutely shocking happens.
Prediction: USC
Brett Neilon and Hunter Echols might be more committed than any other unsigned prospect in this USC class.
Prediction: USC
Pili committed to USC at the Polynesian Bowl and no one else is even in it anymore.
Prediction: USC
Pola-Mao committed to USC just days ago and he had decided on the Trojans long before that.
Prediction: USC
Sears is signed, sealed, delivered. He can’t go anywhere else, he’s an early enrollee.
Prediction: USC
Tuipulotu is signed, sealed, delivered. He can’t go anywhere else, he’s an early enrollee.
Prediction: USC
Much like his high school teammate cornerback Jay Godfrey, Vera-Tucker is very solidly committed to USC.
Prediction: USC
Vorhees is signed, sealed, delivered. He can’t go anywhere else, he’s an early enrollee.
The unpredictables
We haven’t heard anything recently about USC and Westlake Village, Calif. Oaks Christian HS OLB Michael Owusu. But he was offered a blue shirt and is worth keeping an eye on. Kapolei, Hawaii DT Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa has said multiple times that USC is his favorite school and he was offered a grey shirt opportunity by the Trojans. He has other options but if that grey shirt becomes a full scholarship offer, we believe he could fit into this class. Kahuku, Hawaii DE Aliki Vimahi was offered a blue shirt opportunity by USC and we could see him jumping on that offer and becoming a Trojan. He’s previously described USC as his dream school and had USC in his top five, despite uncertainties about being a blue shirt. It's worth watching how that develops. We’re not sure where Tony Wallace stands because we haven’t been able to make contact with him since he tweeted out that he received a scholarship offer from USC. But we have no reason to believe he’ll be a part of USC’s 2017 class.
