USCFootball.com obtains McNairs Response to NCAA

USCFootball.com has obtained USC assistant football coach Todd McNair's Response to the NCAA allegations from his attorney Scott Tompsett.
The Response contains interviews with NCAA investigators, phone records and other evidence used as the basis for McNair's defense against NCAA allegations. Many of the points raised in USCFootball.com's story detailing NCAA missteps against McNair are in the Response.

McNair was part of the longest, most-high-profile infractions case in modern NCAA history which ultimately concluded that he knew (or should have known) about impermissible benefits provided to Reggie Bush. McNair was charged with providing false and misleading information to enforcement staff and given a show-cause penalty preventing him from recruiting for one year.
McNair's detailed Response refutes the NCAA allegations and calls into question the evidence linking McNair with the extra benefits given to his former star running back Bush.
Stay tuned to USCFootball.com for more on this developing story as we document further findings from the investigation as they become available.
