JACKSONVILLE, Florida -- Four-star cornerback Shamar Arnoux was driving back to Georgia from his Auburn official visit in mid June when he got a call from USC defensive backs coach Doug Belk that threw a major wrinkle in his recruiting picture.

"As I was leaving Auburn, like 30 minutes into the drive, Coach Belk had called me and he said he wanted to offer me and then he said, 'We've got to get you up here immediately,''" Arnoux recalled in an interview with TrojanSports.com on Tuesday.

A couple days later Arnoux and his father were on the way to Los Angeles to check out the Trojans, and now they're in his final top 5 list as Arnoux plans to announce a commitment decision Wednesday at the Rivals Five-Star in Jacksonville.
