USC led by just six points midway through the third quarter against San Jose State on Saturday before pulling away for a 30-7 win.
Nickel Greg Johnson's 37-yard pick-6 early in the fourth quarter was the play of the game, pushing the Trojans' lead to 16 at that point and diffusing the pressure within the Coliseum.
After the game, head coach Clay Helton, Johnson and wide receiver Drake London shared the dais in the postgame press conference.
