Who leads for the Rivals.com No. 3 safety
The No. 3 rated safety by Rivals.com is Covina (Calif.) Charter Oak’s Will Harris. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Harris has 11 scholarship offers. Most of his scholarship offers are from Pac-10 schools including USC, UCLA, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Washington State, Arizona, and Arizona State.
There are five favorites right now for Harris including USC, UCLA, Washington, Washington State, and Arizona State. As of now, he plans on taking three of his official visits to the out-of-state schools Arizona State, Washington, and Washington State.

Harris is looking at several different aspects of colleges to ensure he chooses the school that fits him best.
“I’m looking at everything,” Harris said, “Coaches, atmosphere, people, playing time, and tradition.”
Distance could quite possibly be a factor for Harris, which bodes well for USC and UCLA. When asked how distance would play in to his decision-making, Harris responded, “I don’t know yet, we’ll see.”
Harris explained why he has interest in his top five schools.
USC – “I have a good relationship with Coach (Pete) Carroll. The depth chart is not real deep at safety and it has great tradition.”
UCLA – “I have a good relationship with coach Bieniemy. It is close by and in a good neighborhood. They have great tradition.”
Arizona State – “I would start as a freshman and I like the heat.”
Washington – “I had a cousin that went up there and graduated. I’ve been talking to the coaches for a long time and I’ve gotten to know them real good.”
Washington State – “I worked out with a guy that went to the NFL Draft from there – Jason David.”
One school seems to stand out for Harris and that school is the USC Trojans.
“If I were to say a school that was in the lead, I would say SC."
He plans on taking all of his official visits before committing and he expects to set up those visits before the summer is over.
Harris has adequate speed and great strength for the safety position. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.54-seconds and runs the shuttle in 4.37 seconds. Harris has a bench max of 335-pounds, a squat max of 435-pounds, and a vertical leap of 37-inches.
“My strength and my leadership ability,” said Harris about his best attributes as a safety.
As a junior, Harris recorded seven interceptions and earned All-League, All-Area, and All-CIF honors.
