USC is starting to expand its offers to 2022 prospects, most notably adding to its quarterback pursuits in that class with recent offers to Rancho Verde High School's A.J. Duffy and Inglewood HS's Justyn Martin.

Both young QBs competed at Premium's 7-on-7 tournament at Western HS in Anaheim on Saturday and talked about their Trojans offers and interest.

Duffy piling up early offers

Duffy received his first offer from Nevada this time last year and, as he said, "It just took off from there. ... It humbles me every day."

The 6-foot-1 prospect from Moreno Valley, Calif., is already up to 20 offers, including the one from USC he announced on Twitter on Jan. 30.

"I was at school, they had called my coach and my coach called me up and it was just crazy. And later that day I got on the phone with the head coach and OC and they told me. It was just, they loved me, they liked the film and keep grinding," Duffy said of the Trojans offer. "I feel like it's a great fit. I just love the offense."

He says he's talking to the USC coaches every week now, while also receiving steady interest from a number of Pac-12 schools. But he doesn't have any early favorites.

"I'm taking everyone the same, just trying to build a relationship first," he said.
