USC started the early signing period Wednesday sitting just inside the Rivals top-100 recruiting rankings with four commits, but that is bound to change significantly over the course of this week, month and leading to the traditional National Signing Day in February.
Follow along with all the developments here in our USC signing day live tracker.
We will also be live on site at the signing ceremonies at Mater Dei HS at 1 p.m. and Bishop Gorman HS in Las Vegas, Nev., at 12 p.m.

4:21 a.m. PT -- Three-star ILB Garrison Madden (Hampton, Ga.)
Garrison Madden, a three-star inside linebacker from Dutchtown HS in Hampton, Ga., picked up a USC offer just last week, promptly took an official visit with the Trojans and now has signed with the program as the first National Letter of Intent to roll in early Wednesday morning.
Speed is the name of his game. Watch his senior season highlights below:
5:39 a.m. -- USC signs punter commit Atticus Bertrams (Australia)
USC picked up a commitment from Australian punter Atticus Bertrams back in October, as the heir apparent to fellow Aussie punter Ben Griffiths, who is likely to move on to the NFL.
Bertrams comes out of Prokick Australia, which is where Griffiths also groomed his punting skills.
6:45 a.m. -- TCU DT transfer Earl Barquet makes it official
Barquet, a defensive tackle transfer from TCU, committed to USC on Monday a day after wrapping up his official visit.
7:11 a.m. -- three-star DE commit Devan Thompkins (Edison Senior HS/Stockton)
Devan Thompkins committed to USC on Nov. 19, less than two weeks before the new coaching staff was hired and promptly cleared out most of the existing recruiting class, but the intriguing pass rusher from Stockton remained committed and makes it official today.
7:32 a.m. -- Four-star CB Fabian Ross (Bishop Gorman HS/Las Vegas, Nev.)
Fabian Ross committed to USC way back on Jan. 4 and never wavered, through all the change, upheaval and uncertainty within the program.

7:42 a.m. -- Five-star APB Raleek Brown (Mater Dei HS)
Five-star Raleek Brown, who is ranked the No. 1 all-purpose back and No. 18 overall national prospect, is the jewel of this USC 2022 recruiting class. He was long coveted by the Trojans but out of reach until Lincoln Riley made the move from Oklahoma and Brown promptly flipped his commitment from the Sooners to the Trojans.
One of the most dynamic athletes in the country, expect Brown to make an immediate impact at USC, whether it's carries out of the backfield or using his elite speed and hands to make plays downfield.
Watch our video interview with Brown about his USC decision.
12:15 p.m. — Four-star S Zion Branch (Bishop Gorman HS/Las Vegas, Nev.)
Four-star safety Zion Branch chose USC over Oklahoma and Ohio State live on ESPN2 Wednesday, delivering the biggest news of the day for USC.
Full story from Zion Branch's commitment announcement in Las Vegas.
1 p.m. -- We're not expecting any more public signees today
USC signed six prospects Wednesday but it's just the start.
"Honestly, every day is signing day," Riley said on the Pac-12 Network. "Today it's so much different than what we were all used to being. With the transfer portal now, every day is signing day, and so this is in a lot of ways is just another day for us and it's kind of the norm now. And when you're getting ready to turnover the number of spots we're getting ready to turn over, I think there's an understanding it's going to be a process. And the No. 1 thing we want to do is if we're going to build this, this class coming in from the ground floor is going to be so critical to that, let's make sure we're bringing in the right guys. Let's avoid bringing in people that maybe don't fit exactly from a culture and a mindset standpoint what we have to improve and what we have to build here.
"Today's a great starting point. It's going to continue on throughout this month, well into the second signing day in February and honestly well throughout the spring. This roster build is ongoing and today's fun and exciting, but tomorrow will be as well, Friday will be as well and on through it."
